note for,
adeline virginia woolf
averted in the bedchamber woolf lived -
unchaste desires were unholy in matrimony,
scarred by gallant men as her nearest and dearest,
inscribing using blunt ink she kept singing with gallows humour,
until pebbles were lighter than the burden on her shoulder.

From the dusty streets of Naihati to the polished sets of Amazon Prime, I’ve worn many hats—Filmmaker, Writer, Journalist, and the occasional caffeine-fueled miracle worker. With a Master’s in Filmmaking from the University of Sussex (Merit) and a First Class Honours in English Literature from the University of Calcutta, my journey blends academic grit with cinematic flair. My films ITI (Yours Truly) and Land of Lost Triggers didn’t just win international awards—they caused mild existential crises at film festivals and found their way to audiences via platforms that champion cinema as art—including MUBI, MovieSaints. Vogue Italia has featured my photography thrice, confirming I do occasionally point my camera in the right direction.
I’ve assisted directors, wrangled crews, managed artists, and plotted campaigns—sometimes all in one day. My stints at Number 9 Films, DropsPlay, and Hoichoi sharpened my instincts for storytelling, branding, and audience psychology. Whether it’s scripting a short film or crafting a visual campaign, I dive deep into narratives that unravel societal knots and psychological tangles.
Literature shaped me, cinema saved me—and somewhere between frames and footnotes, I found my voice. On paper or on screen, I explore the politics of emotion, the poetry of resistance, and the beauty in the broken. No brand deals, no fluff—just storytelling with grit, grace, and guts.
